Prayers Taught by Our Lady
During her apparitions at Fatima, Our Lady taught specific prayers to the children and emphasized the importance of the Rosary. These prayers are powerful tools for conversion and peace.
This prayer is traditionally said after each decade of the Rosary. Our Lady taught it to the children during the July 13 apparition.
"O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy."
When to pray: After each decade of the Rosary (after the Glory Be and before the next Hail Mary)
Before Our Lady appeared, an angel visited the children three times in 1916, teaching them this prayer of reparation.
"My God, I believe, I adore, I hope, and I love You. I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope, and do not love You."
Purpose: An act of faith, hope, and charity, and reparation for those who reject God
The Angel taught the children this prayer, emphasizing the importance of making reparation to God.
"Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly. I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners."
Purpose: Reparation for sins and the conversion of sinners
Our Lady taught this prayer to be said when making sacrifices for the conversion of sinners.
"O Jesus, it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary."
When to pray: When offering up small sacrifices and difficulties throughout the day
Our Lady appeared with the Rosary and repeatedly asked the children to pray it daily. She identified herself as "Our Lady of the Rosary" in the final apparition.
